JM Group Code of Conduct

 1) Compliance with laws and regulations
 The JM Group complies with the laws inside Japan and all applicable laws and regulations of each country and region, and we conduct our business activities in a sincere and ethical manner.

 2) Ethical standards
 The officers and employees of the JM Group maintain sincerity and fairness in their conduct inside and outside their company based on high ethical standards.

 3) Respect for employee rights and human rights
 The JM Group does not tolerate child labor, all forms of forced labor, or human trafficking. Moreover, in our operations related to hiring and employment, we have zero tolerance for inhumane conduct, speech or behavior relating to any kind of discrimination for reasons based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ethnicity or nationality, disability, pregnancy, political affiliation, union membership, creed, age, marital status, etc., or relating to various forms of harassment, including power harassment and sexual harassment.

 4) Prevention of corruption
 The JM Group does not tolerate any form of corruption or wrongful conduct targeted at any party, including bribery, money laundering, and misappropriation of funds.

 5) Fair trade
 We always preserve fairness and transparency regarding the JM Group’s relationships with trading partners, and conduct fair transactions that comply with relevant laws and regulations, including competition laws. In our relations with other companies in the industry, we do not act in any way that constitutes a hindrance to free and fair competition, including bid-rigging and cartel involvement, nor do we partake in activities that would invite suspicions of such actions.

 6) Safety and quality control
 As part of our initiatives to give the highest priority to safety, we maintain comfortable workplace environments that consider the health and safety of employees. Moreover, by complying with legal and regulatory demands and stringently applying management systems and their processes for safety and quality control, we provide high quality products and services that meet the expectations of our customers.

 7) Initiatives for environmental conservation
 At the JM Group, we recognize the practice of environmental conservation and other measures to protect the environment, such as energy saving and mitigating global warming, resource saving, and protection of biodiversity as a mandatory condition in our corporate and individual activities. Moreover, while complying with all environmental laws and regulations as well as regional pacts, we are committed to reducing greenhouse gases in all our business activities and contributing to reducing the burden on the environment.

 8) Elimination of antisocial forces
 The JM Group takes a firm stance against antisocial forces or groups, and has no relations with such forces or groups.

 9) Disclosure of information
 At the JM Group, as a corporation that is open with society, we actively communicate with our shareholders and with society at large, and disclose information on all aspects of company operations in an appropriate and timely manner.

10) Information security
 The JM Group treats personal information and confidential information as important information, and maintains and promotes information security while striving to prevent leakage of information.
